A favourite from Punjab Punjabi Chhole is a tangy dish of chickpeas in a spiced thick gravy of onions and tomatoes. Cooked slowly in a special sauce its tangy flavor goes well with pita breads and naans.

Ingredients: chickpeas onion tomato water sunflower oil coriander leaves ginger ghee/clarified butter salt garlic pomegranate seeds cumin green chilli corn flour coriander seed cardamom cinnamon mace caraway fenugreek leaves jaggery clove and black pepper.
