Also known as mendu vadai this mix is for deep-fried fritters consisting of ground urad dal wheat flour and spices. These spicy "lentil doughnuts" are crisp reddish brown patties. They should be served with hot and sour sambhar chutney and yogurt. Recipe provided on package.
