Kabuli chana chickpeas are loved for their versatility mild nutty flavor and nutritional value. They are an essential ingredient in many vegetarian and vegan recipes and are a staple in Mediterranean Middle Eastern and South Asian cuisines.
When cooked Kabuli chana chickpeas have a firm yet tender texture. They can be used in a variety of dishes both whole and mashed.

After soaking Kabuli chana chickpeas can be simmered in water or broth until they become tender. Cooking times vary but generally take around 1 to 1.5 hours for dried chickpeas.
