This Shiva sculpture depicts the Hindu God of destruction in a peaceful posture with his right hand held up in the abhaya mudra. He is seated upon a tiger skin wearing a tiger skin loin cloth for clothing. He is wearing both rudraksha beads and a cobra around his neck. His face has a peaceful and compassionate countenance. His hair is lifted up on his head with a small crescent moon in it. The river goddess, Ganga spouts water from the top of his head. He holds a trident with a drum in his hands. A perfect representation of Lord Shiva!
