Roasted Dalia Whole is made by taking whole black chickpeas roasting them in special kilns and removing the brown outer shells.
They are often eaten as a snack or mixed with spices to make a crunchy spicy snack. They are also used in the preparation of chutneys as a thickener.

I love these because they don't have any oil on them. There may be other brands that are completely plain like this but these are the only ones I have been able to find so far. They are delicious and nutritious and you can add any seasonings or oil to them that you like. I order 11 packages at a time for free shipping. It would be nice if you could order fewer for free shipping but I eat them pretty fast anyway.
