White Sona Masoori Rice (or Sona Mahsuri) is a medium grain white rice, sweet-smelling, lightweight, aromatic and low in starch Laxmi Sona masoori rice is grown organically, hence this product is natural and are free from any chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, toxic substances, synthetic hormones and are certified according to international standards for organic production, processing, and packaging. Since they are grown naturally, it has rich nutritional values. Sona masoori Rice is usually used in dishes like sweet Pongal, biryani, idlis, and fried rice. Sona masoori rice is also well-suited for preparing pulihora/chitrannam/pulao type dishes and also as a complement to dal (Pappu), sambar, rasam and yogurt.
