The scent opens with top notes of soapy aldehydes, wood-spice coriander, citrus mandarin orange, carnal-floral Indian tuberose, tart bergamot, and intensely sweet cardamom. The complexity continues in the middle notes with a variety of floral, including carnation, ylang-ylang, Turkish and Moroccan rose, narcissus, Egyptian jasmine and the violet-like orris root. The base notes achieve a sweet, rich effect with notes of golden honey, saccharine vanilla, powdery iris, resinous amber, warm sandalwood, woody-floral patchouli, forest-like oakmoss and vetiver, and earthy civet and musk. This fragrance is long-lasting and needs only a light application due to its heavy sillage.
